Nine years ago today I became a mom for the first time. My darling daughter came into my life at 12:09 AM on April 3, 2002. What a beautiful young woman she is becoming.
Even with the really long and exhausting weekend we had, the kids were up bright and early Sunday morning to open Sister's birthday gifts. 
A little grown up girl stuff (scented body spray and lotion). 
An umbrella, because it takes a lot of April showers to bring May flowers (whether Sister cares about May flowers or not). (;
Memere and I made these Girl Scout sashes happen for all Sister's American Girl dolls. They are even reversible for when she becomes a Junior. She also received a huge lot of colored felt, fabric paint, fabric glue, and such to make patches and also some other fun crafts.
For dinner Sister choose lasagna.
