Happy Fourth of July Everyone!
We had a wonderful day despite the clouds.
We had a wonderful day despite the clouds. In the morning we joined some friends to watch a local parade. The kids had fun snacking on cheesy pretzels and red licorice, dancing in the street, and waving their flags. We even got the Canadians to wave the American Flag. Whoo whoo!
Sadly, the parade had even less floats and marching bands in it than last year.
After taking a break during nap time for Baby Bear, we headed over to some friends' house to enjoy a truly American summer meal of BBQ carne asada, BBQ chicken, BBQ salmon, pasta, and much more. We did sacrifice and enjoy a Canadian flag cake, but it was delicious alongside the mud pie.

The kids had a great time playing in numerous bounce houses, watching astounding jugglers, and dancing to some good ol' rock and roll.
Finally, it was time for fireworks. With bellies full of s'more snacks, we all cuddled up on our blanket to watch a wonderful firework display.
I hope all of you had a fabulous Fourth of July as well.
God bless America!!!
