Bike Ride!

Finally! The weather towards the end of March was nice enough to hop on our bikes and ride down to the park. What fun!

Just loving this weather and going on bike rides with the kiddos again!

Brother Bear turns 7!!!

Brother Bear turned 7-years-old in March!
He helped me make his birthday cake.

The next day, Brother celebrated his birthday at a local gymnastics place with friends from school.

I can't wait to see what excitement comes along this year!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

For Irish dancers, and their families, St. Patrick's Day is the entire month of March.
We enjoyed attending numerous performances every weekend and sometimes during the week too for Sister Bear.

Recently, the girls in her level moved up into show dresses rather than jumpers.
Sister is so thrilled to wear hers.

We loved performing at a local retired living facility and visiting with the residents.

The Library is always a fun place to perform as well.

This year Sister got to perform at McMenamins as well.

Brother's trap didn't catch a leprechaun, but we did get some yummy chocolate coins and fun trinkets from the little escape artist.

I hope all of you had a fun and safe St. Patrick's Day!!!

Snow...snow...snow....

We were so excited to finally have some good snow for sledding!

The kids headed out at nighttime since it was the first snow we'd really gotten this year.

It even stuck around the next morning. What fun!

Friends came over to join us for some sledding.

School was canceled because of the snow.

The March for Life was a bit strange with all the snow.

Now, it started getting a bit annoying. 14 inches and no school three days in a row?!?

My kitchen was beginning to look like we live in Alaska.

By day 4 I could have done without the snow anymore.

Then, we lost power...for three days!!!

We had to get creative to keep our food cold. Notice our "cooler"?

Three days of no power, a week of school canceled, and over a week of snow everywhere...

I was thankful not to see snow for a very long time after this week!!!
