Over the sound and through the woods...

We took a trip up to Whidby Island to see G and G as well as Grandpa's mom and sister who were in from North Dakota.

We had a great time bowling with the island cousins, checking out Daddy's old toys, and seeing everyone.

Christmas 2011

The Oregon cousins came up on December 23rd and we enjoyed opening presents with them and going out to dinner.

Christmas Eve we celebrated with more family.

Christmas morning the kids were up early.

Guess who had come!!!

The X-Box was the most exciting gift.

It replaced the Super Nintendo we had from when I was eight-years-old.

Christmas morning mass with Memere and Papa.

Time to head home where we enjoyed a yummy brunch.

G and G arrived and we spent the rest of the day in cozy clothes playing with toys, especially the X-Box.

I hope Christmas found you surrounded by family and filled with love.

Christmas Feis

Sister participated in a Christmas Feis in December.

(A feis is an Irish Dance competition.)

 She did well earning a second and third place medal, and winning a third place trophy.

 We also enjoyed a beautiful day in Kent.

Decorating the Tree

Guess who flew all the way here from Australia to help us decorate our tree?

Well...maybe not just for that reason. Still, after a couple games of Wizards' Chess it was time to get started.

 We had to bring Memere in to help with the red bead strings.

 Sister helped Memere with the beads.

 Brother did a lot of dancing to all the muscial ornaments.

 Baby Bear just like running around the tree.
