Summer has begun and so have Sister's golf lessons. Brother was pretty disappointed that he couldn't take any, but the age cut off was 8-yrs-old. Here she is at her first lesson:

Brother graduated from kindergarten this week.
We heard lots of fun songs including the Animal Alphabet that I've been hearing about all year.
Then, it was time to party.

S'Mores!!!
We had some friends over to enjoy our first fire pit of the season on Friday.
Everyone loves s'mores!!!
The kids had WAY too much sugar.
Yes, she's roasting a sock. No, we didn't use that roasting stick again after that.
My dh loves to pretend to eating gross things like the roasting sock and now Baby Bear's very dirty feet.
That swing set was rocking after all that sugar!

Trip to the Zoo
On Tuesday we packed up the vans and drove the kindergarten class up to the zoo.
They had Alphabet books that they filled in as we walked around. The goal was to find an animal to write down for every letter.
Measure up to the polar bear.
The boys would have played the dung beetle game FOREVER!!!
The boys loved the shark teeth. One of the zoo keepers was so patient answering all their questions.
Yes, I did make them get measured up against everything we came across. They just grow up so quickly.
Oh no! Shark attack!!!
The walruses were so HUGE!!!
The boys LOVED the polar bears. I didn't get a photo of it, but when one of the bears was in the water, it popped up right in front of us at the window and the boys were thrilled.
My cute little monkey!
Some monkeys escaped! Can you find them all?
Oh no! A scary spider!!!
Climbing the statue.
Green and Gold all together for a snack.
The Gold class boys plus one.
Ready to head home. It's a kid chain to the car. (=

Viking Fest
Sunday we headed north to the Viking Fest where Sister performed again. This time, it was just Memere, Sister and me as the boys were Irished out.

Saturday was the Lacey Fun Fair at Saint Martin's University. There were bounce houses and bouncy giant slides, games for the kids to play, and activities to try. Plus, it's all free! (=
